Comments on the Military and Business Ownership
I learned how to learn, and this made me become a self-starter and created a hunger to learn as much as I can about certain topics that helped those around me. In my case, this extended to financial planning and investment management when I discharged. I also learned how to endure through the worst times by persevering and always continually trying to serve others. The Marines taught me how to be self-sufficient, and to serve others with grit, intelligence, and humility.
