Discipline, hard work, and always doing what's right come to mind first of all. As a fitness business, gaining experience as a noncommissioned officer in training junior enlisted who needed mentorship in order to make weight, make tape, or pass their physical fitness tests gave me a wealth of firsthand experience before starting my business.
