Comments on the Military and Business Ownership
I was a homeless teenager when I joined the Navy at 18 years old. I served active duty for 8 years where I learned leadership skills and how to be resourcefull, amongst many other skills. I was able to use my Post 9/11 GI Bill to earn a Bachelors Degree in Business Management and I have worked as a civilian for the U.S. Navy for the last 10 years. The military changed my life and gave me the footing I needed to finally pursue my dream of entering the fasion industry as an owner.
