Comments on the Military and Business Ownership
Nonprofit leadership is about building a small team that is capable of doing multiple things, with very limited resources, under diverse and sometimes stressful circumstances. The military trained me and gave me multiple opportunities to to do the exact same thing. My job as a Senior NCO and my job as an Executive Director is to take care of my team and get them to accomplish their mission in the correct way.
