Military Communities is a non-profit "Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business" (SDVOSB) consisting of an operational network of 150 proprietary websites which reaches veterans and businesses in the communities where they reside -- providing current information about local events, housing, schools, businesses, and employment opportunities.

Comments on the Military and Business Ownership
Active-duty military families relocate to new bases every three years or so. Many veterans choose to retire or relocate near military and veterans hospitals and facilities. Military families must quickly assimilate into the civilian culture to use local schools, housing, and businesses. Veterans and spouses must find employment in the area. Military Communities was founded to meet the need to support veterans, military families, and businesses near every military base in the U.S.
