PTSD from Iraq and Afghanistan has given me a rugged aesthetic that I use in creating my leather goods. Working with leather started as an art therapy for PTSD. I use premium hides that still have barbed wire scars and original heat brands from the ranch. Yet the leathers I use are beautifully grained. It's sort of an expression of how I feel about myself. Still scarred up yet resilient and able to last a lifetime.
