The Telfair Center for the Arts (TCA) is a project of the Pioneer Historical Society. The Society's mission is to preserve the history of the county and make the arts available to its people. The TCA presents the performing arts to the area residents with a series of six or more live performance events each season which are sponsored by local businesses to make the tickets affordable. All profits are used for continuing rehabilitation of the Nationally Registered Old South Georgia College for the adaptive as the TCA and for its operation and maintenance. The majority of this effort is performed by veterans. The TCA features a 410 seat auditorium, named as one of Georgia's finest architecturally and acoustically.
