Comments on the Military and Business Ownership
My military service prepared me for business ownership by reinforcing the basic Army principles - Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Selfless Service, Honor, Integrity and Personal Courage. These are the characteristics necessary to form and sustain a small business. The letters form the word "leadership" - and are the core values for anyone considering entrepreneurship. I am proud to have served my country and feel the time spent was some of the best in my life.
